Water Usage For Domestic Water Supply

Once you have determined the amount of water would be needed to be pumped, you should then estimate the level of pressure which could be expected. The average pressure of water for domestic use is in the range of 40 – 70 psi. You should also make a note of the difference in height between the pump and the highest pointed of expected use. The water source in Hungary though which water will be received is also an important aspect to consider. Associated with water pumping is the pressure control system. This is a system which turns the pump on and off by detecting the water pressure (the detection occurs usually in the range of 150kpa or 220kpa).
Types Of Pumps Available
Among the many different types of devices available, jet pumps are the common type used if water needs to be drawn up out of a tank or well. If you wish to purchase this type of Grundfos pump, you would be at a benefit of receiving one which is self-priming. Jet pumps are known to be functional from depths of about 7-9 meters as well. But they tend to be a bit noisy during operation.
Alternately, there is another type of pumps called multistage. This type of pump should be selected when there is a positive head of pressure from which the pump can begin with. But most models available in the market are not self-priming unlike jet types. The benefit of this type is its quiet operation. Therefore it is more suitable when the pump is to be installed near a living area. They are also more energy efficient as they use a series of impellors and diffusers to increase the pressure generated from the pump.
